well

I have great respect for the time and effort put into this. it's obvious and i don't think anyone can argue with that. The artwork is very very consistant and well put together so great job there. I only have two problems with this game. First off is something that is on my end of the playing experience which is i personally enjoy a little grind and player progression, so although i know what you're getting at it's not my style of "RPG" Earning some of those moves myself would have made them far less stale, and in fact pretty kick ass.

the second is that i have already played the first which for what it's worth i'd give a 9 or 10 just because it was an idea that was somewhat innovative and it was fresh. This is a sequal so obviously it's going to be similar but i think i was done after the first.

Either way excellent work. Add some more RPG elements and i'd be siked to play your next installment (or any game you make if you go another direction)

great message and great delivery

to the mooks out there who don't get the message thinking it's a control bug... um der it's that you are still playing the game 30 seconds later when the game is saying go outside.

haha pretty epic submission :D

WORLD OF JELLY?

clearly inspired by "World of Goo" (which is a great game) except instead of pipes you get a "hydra" head that looks an awful lot like a trouser snake.

the physics are a bit off and i didn't even get through every tutorial level mainly because it didn't quite throw me the hook i needed to keep playing. That mythic smoke was very obnoxious and it didn't tell you what he wanted to eat so i just stopped there. Obviously you put time and effort into this it just needs serious polishing. people are right though, make sure a game is thoroughly tested before releasing it to the public.

good luck in the future

Great Game

you Obviously put a lot of time and effort into this game. You can't go wrong with the "kirby" ability steal concept, especially when you juice it up with your style. Although the movement feels a bit sluggish it's a solid game. The creativity and functionality of the special abilities in the game made this player happy. Becoming a "roomba" vacuum cleaner or a spewing garbage ball, how can you complain. speaking of which Please don't listen to the harsh reviews who can't see the good in anything... Any flash animator/artist would know in a second that you put a bunch of time into this and it's just ignorant of anyone to say otherwise.

aside from the few glitches (punching gloves staying on after power up is complete, player positioning on top or under objects switching sparatically) and the somewhat slow character movement (maybe add a sprint button)
i have to disagree with the "i hate being on top of the person to eat/inhale their ability"

you have to realise that eating something is considered an instant kill, even on some of the harder hitting and heavy health enemies. SO being able to take their power and instant kill should be something you have to somewhat work for.

anyway keep it up... sorry for the length of the review just thought i'd throw in my 2 cents.

not a fan of your responses to peoples serious

reviews... they have issues with this for a reason, and that is because to be completely honest this is not a complete or polished submission.

first off the layout feels rushed, white backgrounds with random brawl screen shots isn't that appealing to me.
not to mention the pictures have zero relavance to the questions at hand.

as for the questions... i don't know why you are arguing with the reviewers, they make valid points... mr. game and watch can cook... and if you didn't want to have people arguing with you about that why did you have him in the multiple choice...

as for most hits? (there is no limit?) wrong, they have a max ammount of characters on screen at any given time... so rephrase that and say "more than four"

highest jump ability, not clear... jump or "recovery" because robs jump and double jump is definitely not thie highest.

jigglypuff is the slowest? : /

as for "difficult" programming i have to disagree with you, this could be done with basic "go to frame #" buttons the way you have it set up.

anyway all i'm saying is take constructive feedback to heart instead of being a jackass and laughing at the people giving it to you.

you obviously are capable so next time i hope to see something crazy :D
good luck.

HellBentGoose responds:

as I said earlier, cooking is pulling out a cooking tool, such as a pot, which KIRBY DOES.
I guess; FlashGamers suggested that
No, R.O.B. does jump the highest
yup, by MPH

Hahaha

first i'd like to point out that your response to the review before me made me laugh hard.

ok i understand peoples problem with the advertisement aspect but to be honest, for people to say that and then vote 5 on the armor games, mochi, etc. games without a problem is rediculous.

so heres to your game, and your site (which ill now check out)

the game was well made. a very sleek look and smooth play. the actual action interface could be cleaned up a bit but otherwise fine.

on the whole a solid game with the "lemmings" gameplay. unfortunately it didn't fully hook me

ok so

a great game.

excellent work you two.

you took a classic and made it even more fun... in flash! i had fun with it, the score system is a nice idea as well

yet another great game of gondor game.
thank you

ok so

great update, a lot more features (including pincers) and i love how you can change the size and rotation of the pieces.

i hope the next update holds even more goodies and things for me to pimp out my robot.

i'm gonig to submit this to the dress up collections. it deserves to be there!

ok so

basically this is the back bone of a decent tutorial.

choose different music... (not saying i don't like it but if you use a loop from somewhere that might work better)

if you had a little more to look at it would be nice too. i know tutorials are about learning but the best tutorials are the ones that are somewhat enjoyable to watch.

lol (the ones in igloo part 3 aren't amazing but there are a few things to look at)

i'm glad you thought about helping out others continue working with flash! ill watch your movies!

ok so

heres the thing... not EXACTLY dan paladin quality but your teaching people the righ concepts and thats a good thing.

one thing i would like to say though is that speed is not always what people want. people need a balance of quality and speed and that depends on the animator.

anyway good job. i would have probably not brought paladin into it though lol. but whatever

good luck

Prepare to see a bit more of me on the portal. i've been away but i have a ton of work in the making!
